SUPPORT AREFS
AREFS taide ja kulttuuri ry (art and culture association) has been started in autumn 2008 and is planning and supporting art and cultural activities and events in Saksalanharju and Kirkonkylä in Haukivuori. The main intention is to create an active and inspiring cultural environment for the local society, the summer and winter visitors and for regional and international artists.
AREFS is planning to organize cultural bus trips, will publish an information bulletin SAKSALANHARJU UUTISET, will support artists to stay in the artist-in-residence program, child art activities and also events like the annual taidekirppujen yö.
AREFS is raising funds for projects by local, regional, national and international organizations, governments and foundations.
