THIS IS MY BACKYARD - HAUKIVUORI - class 1
THIS IS MY HOUSE - painting

The first class started with the subject "my own home". This makes it possible to introduce the own environment as they experience it every day.
During the introduction the houses, environment and characteristics were discussed. The information through the pictures shows that house and environment are both important.

Children started painting by mixing colors and building their house step by step.

It is interesting to see how their imagination and expression of it come together in the painting.
 

At the start of the second lesson some information is repeated and also new information brings them on the level to start thinking about how to continue.

 
 

In this painting one can see how a child is adding new colors and new forms to the painting.

The paint makes it possible to change whatever is wanted.
